May is shaping up to be a stellar month in the UFC, with fantastic Fight Night headliners and a stacked PPV card in UFC 262.
Per Brett Okamoto, a ranked Lightweight match has been added to one of those Fight Nights, as Gregor Gillespie and Carlos Diego Ferreira are set to go at 155 pounds.
#15 ranked Gregor Gillespie (13-1) has not competed since October 2019 following a knockout loss to Kevin Lee. He was slated to compete against Brad Riddell a few weeks ago, but the fight fell through the day of the event.
Carlos Diego Ferreira (17-3) was on a tear winning six straight fights, but lost a decision to Beneil Dariush in his last outing. Ranked at #12, Ferreira will look to get his momentum going again.
The card is set to be headlined by a quality Bantamweight scrap as TJ Dillashaw returns to the Octagon against the always dangerous Cory Sandhagen.
