Max Holloway and Yair Rodriguez were set to lock horns as the main event of a UFC Fight Night card on July 17th.
However, Max Holloway has been forced out of the bout due to an injury. News of this cancellation was first reported by Carlos Contreras Legaspi.
The promotion is looking to rebook the fight at a later date, meaning Rodriguez will not be kept on the card. In that case, the UFC will need a new main event, with just about a month until fight time.
The Octagon returns to the Apex this Saturday with UFC Vegas 29, headlined by Dan Ige and The Korean Zombie.
