Moraes to Face Dvalishvili at UFC 266

Just moments ago, news was broken on a ranked Bantamweight fight.

Coach Ray Longo announced on the Anik Florian podcast that Merab Dvalishvili will fight Marlon Moraes in a Bantamweight contest at UFC 266.

Marlon Moraes (23-8-1) last saw victory over Jose Aldo in a split decision in 2019. “Magic” is on a two-fight losing streak, with both defeats coming by knockout. The fearsome Brazilian finisher has violent kickboxing and iron tight submissions, but has been off his mark as of late.

High streaking Merab Dvalishvili (13-4) has established himself as a top contender. Since two defeats upon joining the UFC, he has put together six straight wins, all by decision. Dvalishvili has an exhausting pace and ferocious wrestling ability.

This clash of styles will add to the stacked UFC 266 card, coming September 25th.
