The Welterweight division just had itself a fantastic matchup of challengers booked, as Kevin Lee will return to 170 pounds against Sean Brady, as first reported by MMA Junkie.
Kevin Lee moved up to Welterweight around two years ago, but was submitted by Rafael dos Anjos and subsequently dropped back down to Lightweight. He will make his second appearance in the UFC’s WW division here. He has not competed since March of 2020, where he was submitted by current Lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.
Meanwhile, Sean Brady is on a tear with four straight wins, including a guillotine over Christian Aguilera. He is currently ranked #13 at Welterweight and has proven himself to be a threat anywhere the fight goes.
The UFC 264 card is shaping up beautifully, with Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor’s trilogy bout as the headliner. Stay tuned to our main page for upcoming news!
