The UFC 265 PPV card just received another stellar addition.
Jose Aldo will take on Pedro Munoz in a clash of ranked Bantamweights, as first reported by Combate.
Featherweight GOAT and former champion Jose Aldo (29-7) made the drop to 135 pounds in late 2019 with much criticism, and lost his first two bouts, dropping a split decision to Marlon Moraes and a knockout loss to Petr Yan in a title fight. He got back on the right track in his last outing, winning a decision against Marlon Vera. Aldo is currently ranked #5 at Bantamweight.
Pedro Munoz (19-5) has been an all-action fighter since joining the UFC, taking home post-fight bonuses against Cody Garbrandt, champion Aljamain Sterling, and Frankie Edgar. Though he was on a two-fight skid, a decision over Jimmie Rivera in his last outing secured him the #8 ranking.
These Brazilian veterans are sure to bring an all-action fight to the UFC 265 card, which is currently headlined by Amanda Nunes defending her Bantamweight belt against Julianna Pena.
