A banger Middleweight fight has just been booked for August 21st.

Brett Okamoto of ESPN first confirmed that Jared Cannonier will fight Paulo Costa in a Middleweight contest. The fight will headline a currently untitled Fight Night card.

Paulo Costa (13-1), ranked #2, has not competed since his title defeat at the hands of current champ Israel Adesanya. He was booked to face Robert Whittaker, but had to pull out due to illness. Costa has all but one of his career wins by knockout and brings a furious pace to all of his fights, coming forward with constant pressure and volume.

The #4 ranked Jared Cannonier earned three straight knockout wins en route to a title eliminator with Robert Whittaker, but lost a decision to the former champion. The former Heavyweight brings show-stopping power, vicious leg kicks, and an aggressive pace.
