`The UFC Vegas 26 card has been up in jeopardy with neither main nor co-main event events confirmed until now.
Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone was slated to be on the card opposite fellow veteran Diego Sanchez, but Sanchez was cut from the UFC.
Fortunately, a replacement in Alex Morono has been found just five days prior to the event, as confirmed by @CCLegaspi on Twitter. Morono is 7-4-(1) in the UFC and most recently suffered a decision defeat to Anthony Pettis, who also beat Cerrone.
The main event is not officially confirmed, but there is currently a clear favorite in Michelle Waterson and Marina Rodriguez to headline.
