The UFC 264 card went down just hours ago, but the rivalry between the two headliners, Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor, has certainly not come to a close.
The fight was stopped by the doctor following McGregor suffering a broken tibia towards the end of the round.
The round ended with Poirier pummeling McGregor from top position, with the commentary booth questioning why the bout had not already been stopped. McGregor was unable to stand back up, and the fight was quickly called off following the gruesome injury.
However, the fighters’ back and forth did not stop there.
Poirier taunted McGregor following the stoppage, with McGregor shouting out a tirade of insults. This went from the repeated “your wife is in my DMs” remarks, and went all the way to threatening Poirier;s life. Still lying against the side of the cage, Conor shouted that he was going to kill Dustin, while making finger guns to his head.
Poirier did not take kindly to this, stating at the post-fight presser: “We are going to fight again whether it’s in the Octagon or on the street. You don’t say the stuff he said.”
Poirier’s wife, Jolie, also wasn’t a fan of Conor’s over the line trash talk, which she made clear while exiting the cage.

It seems that both fighters will get their chance to settle their unresolved beef, with Dana White stating a fourth bout between the pair is to be expected.
