A ranked Bantamweight fight between Raquel Pennington and Pannie Kianzad is set to go down on September 18th, per Sweidsh MMA media outlet Frontkick Online.
Raquel Pennington (11-8) has not seen competition since last June, where she earned a decision win over Marion Reneau. Pennington was removed from the rankings following a self proclaimed usage of prohibited substances, following a doctor prescription.
Pannie Kianzad (15-5) made her entrance to the UFC through the Ultimate Fighter and did not find a warm reception to the promotion, being cut after a loss to Macy Chiasson. Following a win on the regional circuit, Kianzad made her way back to the Octagon and has now won four straight. She is ranked currently in the #11 slot.
These fighters will go at it on the September 18th Fight Night card at 135 pounds.
