Grishenko Upsets Reug Reug with Controversial TKO

THE ONE on TNT IV card is in full swing, with the Light Heavyweight title in the balance as Reinier de Ridder takes on Aung La N Sang.

The main card opener was a heated Heavyweight contest between Oumar “Reug Reug” Kane and Kirill Grishenko, both with 3-0 records and all finishes.

Reug Reug failed to find his usual success with his Senegalese wrestling as Grishenko kept it on the feet and pieced up Kane with his superior technique. Kane was clearly suffering in terms of his gas tank, only finding success in the clinch.

At the end of the second round, Grishenko fired off a short right hook right after the bell, which saw Kane fall to the floor.

Reug Reug claimed the shot hit him in the throat after the bell, but the referee was not convinced. Instead, the result came as a TKO for Grishenko, with the shot being judged as legal.

There are two fights left to go on the main card, so be sure to tune into TNT!
