The final ONE on TNT card has gotten a slight shake up in the main event.
Light Heavyweight champion Aung La Nsang (26-11) was set to defend his Light Heavyweight title in a trilogy bout with Vitaly Bigdash. However, Bigdash was pulled from the card due to COVID-19 protocols.
The promotion quickly found a replacement in Reiner de Ridder (13-0), as confirmed by Ariel Helwani. De Ridder was last seen capturing the Middleweight title from La Nsang, submitting the former double champ in the first round.
They will have an immediate rematch, but de Ridder will instead have the opportunity to take La Nsang’s second belt and attain the coveted double champ status for himself.
This event will conclude ONE Championship’s immensely successful TNT series, with fan favorites Eddie Alvarez and “Reug Reug” Oumar Kane also adorning the main card.
The card takes place on Wednesday, April 28th, with the main card set to go at 10 PM EST.
