News was just broken by MMAFighting.com that Amanda Ribas will be fighting Angela Hill at a currently unnamed UFC event on May 8th.

This fight will take place in the Strawweight division and features two ranked fighters, with Ribas slotted at #10 and Hill at #12.

Amanda Ribas (10-2) was on the fast track to stardom with four straight wins, including victories over Paige VanZant and jiu-jitsu ace Mackenzie Dern. However, she was knocked out by Marina Rodriguez at UFC 257, putting a halt to her hype and five-fight win streak.

Conversely, Angela Hill (13-9) ended a two-fight losing skid (though both losses were by split decision) by putting a beating on Ashley Yoder, earning a lopsided decision.
