A top ranked Heavyweight contest has just been booked, as Derrick Lewis will fight Chris Daukaus on December 18th.
Derrick Lewis (25-8) chained together four straight wins to get a chance at interim gold opposite Cyril Gane. The undefeated Frenchman was too much for him, finishing him in the third round. Lewis has the most recorded knockouts in the division’s history and is always a threat for the one punch KO.
Just victorious last weekend at UFC 266, Chris Daukaus will get a big step up in competition here. He came to the UFC at just 8-3 last year, but has rattled off four straight knockout wins. He is currently ranked at #7 in the Heavyweight division.
These two are booked as the headliner for the final UFC card of 2020, set for December 18th!
