A top flight Bantamweight match has just been booked, as Rob Font will take on Jose Aldo.
Rob Font (19-4) has not seen defeat since 2018, putting on four straight wins. A first round knockout over Marlon Moraes led to Font taking on Cody Garbrandt in a five round main event, where he earned a dominant decision and the #4 ranking.
Following a loss to current champion Alexander Volkanovski, Jose Aldo (30-7) dropped down to Bantamweight. Though he had a rough start with a split decision loss to the aforementioned Moraes and a TKO loss to Petr Yan, he has gotten back on track since, winning two straight decisions over Marlon Vera and Pedro Munhoz. Aldo is ranked at #5 in the Bantamweight division.
The pair will headline the Fight Night event set to go down on December 4th, moving one up to being the next potential title challenger.
