Former Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones cannot stay out of the way of himself, with a career marred by extracurricular mistakes.

This most recent case came yesterday (Friday) morning, being charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and tampering with a vehicle.

This incident comes just after the UFC Hall of Fame induction, where Jones’ bout with Alexander Gustafsson was inducted on Thursday night.

Jones has been teasing a move up to Heavyweight for some time now and has not competed since February 2020, where he narrowly won a split decision against Dominick Reyes. He is targeting a return in early 2022 for the Heavyweight title.
