A banger Featherweight bout has just been added to the UFC 268 card, as Shane Burgos and Billy Quarantillo have signed to throw down on the November card.
Shane Burgos (13-3) quickly became known for his action-packed fighting style, throwing leather on the feet until either he or his opponent fall. He is in the midst of a two-fight skid, with a decision loss to Josh Emmett and a third round knockout to Edson Barboza, though he turned both into Fight of the Night wars. He has won six fights under the UFC banner and is currently ranked at #14.
A Contender Series stoppage over current UFC fighter Kamuela Kirk brought Billy Quarantillo (16-3) to the Octagon. He picked up three straight wins including two stoppages before running into Gavin Tucker, who bested Billy Q in a decision. He got back on track in his last outing, pounding out a third round TKO against Gabriel Benitez.
These two have the well-rounded but aggressive styles sure to produce a war, so don’t forget to mark November 6th on your calendars!
