A top flight Women’s Bantamweight clash has just been billed to headline the UFC Fight Night card set to take place on October 11th, as Miesha Tate will fight Ketlen Vieira.
Former Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate (19-7) made her return to competition in July after over fours years away from the cage. Her return fight went as well as could be expected, as Tate stopped Marion Reneau int he third round with ground and pound. This was the first stoppage loss in Reneau’s career.
Ketlen Vieira (11-2) was right on the verge of a title shot before being flattened by a left hook from Irene Aldana. She got back on track with a decision over Sijara Eubanks, before coming up short on the scorecards against Yana Kunitskaya in her last outing.
