The UFC 266 Pay-Per-View card set to go down next month just received another top matchup.
A Lightweight contest between Dan Hooker and Nasrat Haqparast has just been booked for the September 25th event.
Dan Hooker (20-10), ranked at number eight in the Lightweight division, has not competed since he suffered a knockout defeat to Michael Chandler. That loss put Hooker on a two-fight skid, the first of his UFC career.
This will be a tough step up in competition for Nasrat Haqparast (13-3), whose biggest test to date has been Drew Dober. He will get a chance at moving into the Lightweight rankings here, coming off two straight decision victories over Rafa Garcia and Alex Munoz.
This bout will take place on the televised prelims of UFC 266, currently set to be headlined by the Featherweight title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Brian Ortega.
