There wasn’t a lot of movement in the rankings this week after UFC on ESPN 27 but there were a few to report.
The bulk of the movement was in the men’s bantamweight division with T.J. Dillashaw getting his controversial decision win over Cory Sandhagen. He now enters back into the rankings and holds the number 2 position. This had a domino effect on all other fighters in the division forcing each of them to move down one spot.
In the men’s flyweight division, Matheus Nicolau moves up one spot to number 12, Sumadaerji moves up one spot to number 13 and Amir Albazi moves up one spot to number 14. In addition, Tyson Nam finally gets a ranking next to his name and now holds the number 15 position.
In the women’s flyweight division, Maycee Barber switches places with Miranda Maverick after her equally controversial decision win. Maycee Barber now moves up one spot to number 13 while Miranda Maverick moves down one spot to number 14.
The only other movement to report is in the women’s bantamweight division. Julia Avila moves up one spot to number 13 and Karol Rosa moves up one spot to number 14. Finally, Alexis Davis makes her new entry into the rankings and now holds the number 15 position.
