Is Conor McGregor’s Focus a Concern Before UFC 264 Trilogy Bout?

Dustin Poirier shook up the Lightweight division when he knocked out Conor McGregor in their rematch back in January, and the trilogy bout between the two has been booked for July 10th at UFC 264.

Despite losing their most recent match and winning just two of his last four, Conor McGregor is currently seated as the -120 favorite at time of writing.

The fight is booked to take place in exactly 43 days with the typical six week training camp well started by now, given fight week weight cutting and media obligations.

However, McGregor is instead on vacation by the sea, no coaching staff in sight, with the Irish superstar posting this jab to Twitter.

McGregor, as well as his fans, have declared that poor focus was to blame before key defeats, in relation to both the Diaz and Poirier defeats.

His training camp should be getting into full swing by usual standards, so we should hopefully see some training footage in the near future.

UFC 264 will air at 10 PM EST on July 10th, with some fantastic matchmaking and divisional standouts set to go at it!
