Kevin Holland has offered to step in on short notice, again!
This time, his potential foe is none other than Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.
Cerrone (36-15-0), had his original opponent Diego Sanchez pull out of their May 8th fight earlier today.
Though Holland (21-7), has fallen short in his last two short notice attempts, he’s up for one more ride with Cerrone.
Holland offered to step in at a catchweight of 175 pounds on Instagram, “I’ll gladly step up Probably come in around 175 but if the cowboy needs a dog to go along for the ride maybe show you a few tricks…..call BigMouth.”
Following two unanimous decision losses in fights where Holland was taken down repeatedly, Cerrone’s willingness to stand and trade would be a welcome sight for UFC fans. More than that, this could prove to be a card saver for the UFC Fight Night on May 8th.
