The UFC will be making their sophomore appearance on the ABC network after a successful first showing in January. The fight will be headlined by a Middleweight contest between Marvin Vettori and Kevin Holland.
The massive card now sits at 13 bouts following the second fight cancellation, after this occurred earlier in the week.
Less than 24 hours removed from start time, and Erin Blanchfield and Norma Dumont’s Bantamweight tilt is off the card.
Blanchfield (5-1), was set to make her promotional debut in a late replacement opportunity. However, Norma Dumont (5-1) missed weight by 3.5 pounds. This is her second weight miss in her second Bantamweight appearance after first signing on the roster as a Featherweight, but that division is no more.
Though Blanchfield was still willing to fight, the Nevada Athletic Commission scrapped the contest due to the weight miss concerns.
Hopefully we can see these fighters rebooked soon, particularly Blanchfield, who was heralded as one of the top prospects outside the UFC prior to her signing.
