Magny vs. Neal Booked for May 8th

We have one gorgeous Fight Night card in the works for May 8th.

The main event features Cory Sandhagen against the returning former champ TJ Dillashaw, who was suspended following a USADA violation due to EPO dosage.

It looks like our co-main is a lock, as Geoff Neal and Neil Magny have signed the contract to fight each other, as confirmed by Brett Okamoto of ESPN.

The pair will face off in the Welterweight (170 lb.) division, where both are ranked.

Geoff Neal (13-3), ranked at #11, is coming off the first defeat in his UFC tenure, dropping a decision to Stephen Thompson in his first main event booking. Prior to that, he was on a five-fight tear under the UFC banner with four wins coming by (T)KO.

Neil Magny (24-8) is currently ranked at #9 and is also coming off a decision loss in a main event to Michael Chiesa. Prior to that, Magny had scored three straight wins in 2020, all by decision.

These Welterweight contenders will lock horns in exactly one months time, so mark your calendars!
