We have seen our second WEC legend retire in as many days, as Carlos Condit will be retiring from the sport of MMA, as first reported by Damon Martin.
The former Welterweight Interim champ claimed the belt with a decision over Nick Diaz, and though he never secured undisputed gold, he was always a fan favorite with a red hot fighting style.
“The Natural Born Killer” retires with a 32-14 professional record, last seen losing a decision to Max Griffin. Prior to that, he had experienced a sort of resurgence with two straight victories, stopping a five-fight losing streak that almost ended his career in 2018.
Condit will be remembered for his finishing ways and electric fighting style, seen in his title fight with Robbie Lawler that nearly earned Fight of the Year.
