A top Light Heavyweight fight between two hyped prospects has just been booked, as Jimmy Crute will fight Jamahal Hill, per Jordan Ellis.
Jimmy Crute (12-2) suffered a doctor stoppage TKO loss to Anthony Smith in his last bout via leg kicks, interrupting a two fight finishing streak. Crute came to the UFC off of the Contender Series and is 4-2 since, and he has not seen the judges’ scorecards since 2018. Crute is ranked at #14 in the Light Heavyweight division currently, and is a constant finishing threat.
Jamahal Hill (8-1) suffered his first career defeat in his last outing to Paul Craig, with a ground and pound TKO loss stemming from an arm injury from a triangle armbar. He is also a Contender Series product who secured three victories in the Octagon prior to the Craig loss, though his first round knockout over Klidson Abreu was overturned to a No Contest following a positive test for marijuana.
These fighters will clash on December 4th at a UFC Fight Night event, likely to serve as the co-main.
