The UFC’s Pay-Per-View card for November just scored another big matchup, as Rose Namajunas will defend her Strawweight title opposite Zhang Weili.
Rose Namajunas (10-4) reclaimed the Strawweight crown in April with a stunning head kick knockout of Zhang in the very first round. She previously held the title, scoring one title defense before losing to Jessica Andrade, though she would get that loss back in their rematch.
Zhang Weili (21-2) soared to popularity as the first Chinese UFC champion. After racking up three straight wins, Zhang claimed the title with a sub-minute knockout of the aforementioned Andrade, then defended it opposite Joanna Jedrzejczyk in 2020’s Fight of the Year.
The match will go down at Madison Square Garden in early November, headlined by another rematch between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington.
