In our main event, dangerous veteran Derek Brunson will take on 2020’s Breakout Fighter of the Year Kevin Holland in the Middleweight division. Our co-main pits Kiwi standout Brad Riddell against the returning Gregor Gillespie in what promises to be an entertaining Lightweight tilt.
Kelvin Gastelum will be fighting against Whittaker in a rebooking of their scheduled bout for UFC 234, which fell through over two years ago when Robert Whittaker suffered a hernia the day of their title match. The pair were opposing coaches on the most recent season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), with the reality show taking a hiatus since.
White announced that the card will be headlined by the UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, versus his rival, Jorge Masvidal. In a way it’s poetic that nearly a year to the day later, fans will be allowed back at UFC events, does the rematch between these Usman and Masvidal make sense?
