LFA 190

The LFA is back for a second straight week in a row, coming this Friday to the Broadbent Arena in Louisville, Kentucky.

In the Featherweight main event, hometown fan favorite Lance Lawrence will face off with Landry Ward, while Lightweights lock horns in the comain as Kegan Agnew fights Richie Miranda.

The card also features the undefeated Angelo Robles, while fan favorite finishers Ben Parrish and Alik Lorenz are set to go in a Light Heavyweight barn burner.

Main Card

Lance Lawrence (7-4) vs. Landry Ward (8-2) (FTW)

This fight got bumped up to the main event after the original booking fell out. A jiu-jitsu specialist, Lawrence appeared on the Contender Series when he was 5-0, but after taking a decision loss there, he suffered number of defeats to poor opposition on the regional circuit. Ward is set to make his third LFA appearance after taking a split decision loss in his last outing. He is a well-rounded fighter who uses his long frame well and looks to grind on his opponents and pick apart at them from range, using leg kicks quite well. I see him controlling this fight primarily on the feet for the decision nod.

My Pick: Landry Ward via Decision

Kegan Agnew (6-1) vs. Richie Miranda (7-1) (LW)

Miranda has fought the majority of his career in the LFA, showcasing his high level grappling, though he scored a first round knockout in his last outing to get back on the winning track. Agnew, while a fun and tough fighter, is defensively flawed and has built his record by beating up lower level guys in lower level promotions. I think the pace and superior level of competition will carry Miranda to a decision victory or late submission.

My Pick: Richie Miranda via Decision

Angelo Robles (3-0) vs. Kibedy Gordon (5-1) (BW)

My Pick: Angelo Robles via Decision

Dustin Parrish (10-4-1) vs. Victor Valenzuela (10-3) (WW)

My Pick: Victor Valenzuela via Knockout

Ben Parrish (6-4) vs. Alik Lorenz (3-1) (LHW)

These two are going to swing hammers from the opening bell. I like the speed and combos of Lorenz to find the target, but Parrish, as he has proven against hyped prospects in Bellator, is live for a finish as well.

My Pick: Alik Lorenz via Knockout

Prelims

Chelsea Conner (2-3) vs. Alandria Rosales (3-2) (SW)

My Pick: Alandria Rosales via Submission

Joshua Perreira (3-0) vs. Jesse Martinelli (3-1) (FLW)

My Pick: Joshua Perreira via Decision

Whittany Pyles (4-6) vs. Nejra Repp (2-1) (FLW)

My Pick: Nejra Repp via Knockout

Ben Fowler (2-2) vs. Trae Cusac (0-0) (MW)

My Pick: Trae Cusac via Decision

Justin Thompson (3-1) vs. Ethan Birmingham (2-0) (FTW)

My Pick: Ethan Birmingham via Submission

Emilio Vallecillo (1-0) vs. Taylor Meister (1-0) (LHW)

My Pick: Emilio Vallecillo via Knockout

Blake Alvey (4-2 Am.) vs. Hayden Russell (2-0 Am.) (Amateur FTW)

My Pick: Hayden Russell via Decision

Alexander Collett (1-1 Am.) vs. Charlie Cleveland (1-0 Am.) (Amateur HW)

My Pick: Charlie Cleveland via Knockout
