Tragedy struck the UFC 263 card earlier today when Frank Camacho suffered a car accident in Los Angeles, forcing him from his fight against Matt Frevola.
Camacho’s injuries are not life threatening or serious, though we will have more details shortly.
Terrance McKinney will be stepping in for Camacho against Frevola. McKinney (10-3) competed just four days ago at the LFA 109 card, picking up a first round knockout win in the main event. He has also fought on the Contender Series, though he was knocked out by Sean Woodson in their bout. All of his wins are by finish, including six by knockout.
Matt Frevola (8-2-1) is not unaccustomed to late replacement fights. When a meeting with Roosevelt Roberts fell through, Frevola accepted a fight against Arman Tsarukyan, who won a unanimous decision. Frevola is 2-2-1 since coming in from the Contender Series.
These two will meet on the early prelims of the UFC 263 card, set to go down this Saturday!
