The UFC’s last event of May is going down later today, with top ranked Bantamweights going at it in the main event.

Less than three hours from start time, and a fight has been taken off the ledger.

The scheduled Lightweight contest between Damir Hadzovic and Yancy Medeiros has been cancelled due to COVID-19 protocols, as reported by Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com.

This was scheduled to be the final bout on Yancy Medeiros’ contract and with three defeats in his last three outings, his back was up against a wall.

Hadzovic is on a skid of his own, dropping two losses, with he last defeat coming by submission to Renato Moicano.
